My Training

My Professional Experience

Following my graduate training, I served as the founding Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and a Behavioral Therapist at CBTeam in Lexington, MA

  • As a Behavior Therapist, I provided CBT for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing OCD and anxiety symptoms. I often worked with people who have not found CBT effective in the past, or ‘treatment-refractory’ cases, and greatly enjoy this work

  • I also became certified in an empirically-supported treatment called SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Using the SPACE approach, I worked with parents and loved-ones of those with OCD and anxiety to improve the well-being and functioning of their family systems

  • As Director of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), I led a team of Behavior Therapists and graduate trainees implementing individualized CBT and exposure-therapy for people with moderate to severe OCD and anxiety. Outcome data from my time at CBTeam indicated that 68.7% (N = 87) of people that enrolled in our program reported clinical significant reductions in symptoms - a statistic I am very proud of. In this role, I honed my skills for tailoring treatment to maximize therapeutic gains and guiding clients to face their fears

  • I also served as a primary clinical supervisor for our staff and graduate students. In this role, I facilitated clinical rounds, taught didactics, and provided individual and group supervision to junior staff. I deeply enjoy teaching others how to deliver effective CBT and ERP and am passionate about mentoring the next generation of evidenced-based practitioners
